Inspired by the decorative arts of the Far East, in particular Japanese screens, the design of our ESTAMPE cushion cover places large forest foliage and a bird motif in a French aesthetic context. “A couple of cranes” is charged with positive values in Japanese, Chinese or Korean symbolism (synonymous with eternal life, fortune, fidelity and love).
Digital printing is used to enhance the fine execution of the “engraving effect” motifs. Two different designs on the front and back enrich the decorative value of this fully reversible cushion. The contrasting black/white palette, like the plumage of these graceful birds, accompanies a minimalist décor of white, black and beige. Designed as a painting, this product is adorned with black cotton piping that outlines the scene like a frame.
