Renowned high-end hospitality and luxury expert Isabel Tapp has launched a website and blog that focuses on luxury lifestyle in Malta, Tappintomalta.com
Ms Tapp has returned to Malta, the country of her birth, after many years working overseas with some of the world’s most recognisable luxury brands. In June 2014 her company, AllDetails Middle East, won the PR Award for Best Tourism & Hospitality PR Campaign at the Arab Luxury World PR Awards in Dubai. Following on from that, she believes it is time to bring some of her dynamic life experiences back to her home country.
Together with her partner, George Turns, Ms Tapp has set up Tappintomalta.com, a platform for homeowners on the island to find accurate information on what products, services and brands are available, and where to find them. Ms Tapp was inspired by her own recent house purchase in Malta, when she found it a challenge to source reliable suppliers; thus, the concept was inspired by a genuine void in the country’s product offering.
The blog also features interesting lifestyle stories from around the world, and all listings will have a ‘review’ section, allowing readers the possibility of adding their personal, unbiased reviews.
“I have always wanted to write,” says Ms Tapp. “Tappintomalta and my Editor’s Blog will give me the platform to write about luxury lifestyle and all the things I feel passionate about; travel, hotels, fashion, homes and interiors.”
Ms Tapp is certainly well qualified to write about such international trends, having spent decades holding senior management positions with some of the world’s most prestigious hospitality companies, including the Jumeirah Group in Dubai, Corinthia Hotels in Malta, Glion Hotel School in Switzerland and Rocco Forte Hotels in Europe.
Users of the platform will be able to find a reliable, useful source of information, ask questions, get advice and interact with other people on the site. It will also give users access to the mind of a highly accomplished professional consultant with over 25 years’ experience in the industry, and whose expertise has been trusted by internationally renowned brands such as Austrian Airlines, Baros Maldives, Capella Hotels & Resorts, St. Regis Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi, North Island Seychelles, Wilderness Safaris, HERTZ and Twinings Teas.
